At Silk & Spice Takeaway, every order is freshly cooked to order. We aim to deliver hot, delicious meals on time, every time. This policy explains how we handle cancellations, changes, refunds, and issues with your order.

Cancelling or Changing an Order

You can cancel or change your order within 5 minutes of placing it. After this time, we usually start cooking and may be unable to cancel.

Missing, Incorrect, or Unsatisfactory Items

If something is missing or incorrect, please contact us within 30 minutes of delivery or pickup.
We will offer a replacement, credit, or refund as appropriate after verifying the issue.
For quality concerns, we may ask for a photo and the order number to help us investigate and improve.

Allergens & Dietary Requests

Please review our Allergens & Dietary Information page and tell us about any allergies when ordering. While we take care to avoid cross-contact, we cannot guarantee any dish is completely free of allergens.

Delivery & Pickup

Delivery times shown are estimates and may vary during busy periods or due to traffic.
Please ensure the delivery address and phone number are correct. We can’t refund orders delivered to the address provided by the customer.
For pickup, please collect your order promptly to enjoy it at its best.

Payment Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take 3–10 business days to appear on your statement.

When We May Decline a Refund

Requests made long after delivery without evidence of an issue.
Items consumed mostly or fully before a complaint is raised.
Allergen reactions when no allergy was declared at the time of ordering.
